For Patients Without a Family Practitioner
KB Access is a medical clinic that offers episodic primary care, as needed & by appointment only, to patients in the Kootenay Boundary region who don’t currently have a family doctor or nurse practitioner.
KB Access Clinic will be open with limited availability beginning January 13th, 2025. Initial appointments will take place virtually or in-person at our Nelson location (Castlegar & Trail locations are coming ~ stay tuned.) For our opening days kindly note that we’re learning together – please be patient & expect delays. More appointments will be made available as we grow.
About Our Clinic
We serve the region with virtual & in-person appointments at our clinic location in Nelson BC (Castlegar & Trail coming ~ stay tuned). Our clinic team collaborates to provide accessible, high-quality, team-based patient care.
Please note that we are NOT a walk-in clinic.
Patients MUST book an appointment to see a family practitioner.
Eligibility
To be eligible please ensure that you meet the following criteria:
You do NOT have a family doctor or nurse practitioner.
You live in the Kootenay Boundary region (includes Nelson, Castlegar, Trail, Rossland, Salmo, Slocan, Nakusp, New Denver, Christina Lake, East Shore, Fruitvale, Grand Forks, Greenwood, Kaslo, Midway, Rock Creek & all rural areas of the region).
