KB Access is a medical clinic that offers primary care, as needed & by appointment, to patients in the Kootenay Boundary region who don’t have a family doctor or nurse practitioner.

About KB Access

Our clinic offers virtual & in-person care. Virtual visits are available to patients across Kootenay Boundary. In-person visits are available in Nelson & Castlegar.

Your appointment will be with the local family practitioner on shift that day & we’ll focus on your top health concern.

Please note that we’re not a walk-in clinic. Patients need to book an appointment to see a family practitioner.

Eligibility Checklist

Before bookling please make sure you meet our clinic’s eligibilty criteria:

✅ You do NOT have a family doctor or nurse practitioner.

✅ You have a valid BC Personal Health Number

✅ You live in the Kootenay Boundary region of BC

(includes the West Kootenay & Boundary communities of Nelson, Castlegar, Trail, Grand Forks, Rossland, Salmo, Slocan, Nakusp, New Denver, Christina Lake, East Shore, Fruitvale,  Greenwood, Kaslo, Midway, Rock Creek & all rural areas).
