Please note that KB Access is NOT a walk-in clinic. All patients MUST book an appointment.
Our clinic offers virtual & in-person care. Virtual visits are available to patients across Kootenay Boundary. In-person visits are starting at our Nelson location, with plans to expand to Castlegar & Trail. Your appointment will be with the family practitioner on shift the day of your appointment & we’ll be able to cover your top health concern.
Eligibility
Before booking an appointment, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria:
You do NOT have a family doctor or nurse practitioner.
You live in the Kootenay Boundary region of British Columbia (includes the West Kootenay & Boundary communities of Nelson, Castlegar, Trail, Grand Forks, Rossland, Salmo, Slocan, Nakusp, New Denver, Christina Lake, East Shore, Fruitvale, Greenwood, Kaslo, Midway, Rock Creek & all rural areas).

Book an Appointment
New Patients:
For first-time appointments please contact us to book by phoning (778) 508-3112 during clinic reception hours: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 12 pm
Existing Patients:
If you’ve already had your first appointment at KB Access, we invite you to book online using our secure patient portal.

Appointment slots open weekly – don’t see a time that works for you – check back or give us a call.
Need to cancel your appointment?
We understand that appointments may need to be canceled occasionally. To do so, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. You can cancel via the secure patient portal, by calling 778-508-3112, or by emailing kbaccess@proton.me.
No-show appointments may incur a $25 fee.
Due to an increase in missed appointments, we are reminding patients of the clinic’s no-show policy. No-show fees are the patient’s responsibility and must be paid within 30 days. In cases of emergencies or extenuating circumstances, the no-show fee may be waived at the clinic manager’s discretion.
